Dell Needs to Acquire Palm

Didnt Pal just report pretty dismal quarter results? I see where you are heading with a merger, but I'm not sure Palm is the right choice. Dell seems like they are stuck in a corner-especially with the forecast for slowing PC demand. Unless Dell begins to innovate more and create new products I think investors will remain bearish (www.predictwallstreet....) on Dell. I'm pretty pessimistic about their short-term future.

AAPL Smartphone Shows the Way to Competitors

Ya I saw that ad on the back page. The Storm had a good chance until it had software security problems. No matter how cool a phone looks, the bottom line is if it doesn't perform and deliver its useless. Apple mastered both-aesthetics and performance. Hence why people are so bearish on RIMM (predictwallstreet.com/...) and bringing its price down. Apple is forecasted to close up today too (predictwallstreet.com/...) and because sentiment is becoming more bullish for them, I think they will be able to sustain throughout the holidays.

Palm's Time May Have Passed

Right. Palm did nothing to keep up with the innovative smart phone market. Its a moving market, and if your company isn't progressing with it of course you're going to lose. Sentiment is bearish for this company (predictwallstreet.com/...) not surprisingly. Consumers don't care about Palm when they have iPhones and Blackberry's to choose from. As long as sentiment stays down, it's gonna keep the price bogged down with it.
