Will High Unemployment Be the Enduring Legacy of This Recession?

I believe that it is not just employee healthcare costs that have prevented US companies from meaningful growth but the extreme weight on company revenues caused by exhorbitant upper management pay packages that have resulted in the extreme erosion of the ability to compete domestically let alone globally. If consumer spending is responsible for 2/3rd's of GDP and the consumer is being paid 1/3rd of the wealth generated--well you do the math--no wonder our economy has plundered so severely.

Do We Take Water for Granted?

As is the status quo in our pandering pro-business United States Government Representatives zero preventative measures will be implemented and we the people will experience yet another horrific crisis of magnitude--even more horrific than the present energy crisis. We just cannot seem to grasp the concept of non-finite natural resources!
