Recent Policy Decisions and a Greater Depression

OK, genius. What is your solution? More tax cuts for the wealthy? Less government regulation? More dishonesty and greed? Duh. Didn't that get us into this mess in the first place? The latest numbers coming out on U.S. job losses may total more than 700,000. That's a great advertisement for the effectiveness of "Trickle Down" economics over the past eight years.

Where's the Nationalization Debate?

Maybe one day someone will rewrite the children's story "The Three Little Pigs" and have the financial community play the porcine role and "socialism", the wolf. I find it incredible that Wall Streeters and others are running around crying about impending government nationalization and socialism after they have weakened the global financial system and the U.S. economy. They always like to pin the blame on consumers who got into debt over their heads or took on a sub-prime mortgage. Seems like I receive numerous, unwanted letters and literature every month from banks, etc. relentlessly trying to push their Master Cards and Visas on me, after having done the same with my children for years.
