I have been actively investing in US markets since 1997 using both stocks and options. While I have generally diversified and followed a range of market sectors one of my favourites is technology. Over the past 15 years I have lived, worked and traveled in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia-Pacific and most recently Europe. Given the high growth rates occurring in developing and middle-economies, perspectives and understanding of their trends are an important element in anticipating the growth and profitabilty prospects of companies.
