A much better natural alternative is a substance called ' nattokinase " It keeps blood from clotting , But DOES not increase bleeding time .This is great as plavix tears -up gI gastrointestinal function . Nattokinase does not. it also inhibits the risk for any condition agravated by prolonged bleeding time . I use it -I have 10 stents . This product is sold by many more knowlegable suplement firms . Just Google it . Do your due dilligence however . i have both a cardiologist + a natural medicine md who told me about this . They use this product a lot in Japan , they have just about best longevity rate.
