If Lynas can hang on a little bit longer, I think things will only improve...

As a Lynas shareholder, I wouldn't mind if MCP went away.
It seems in the forseeable future that we only have sensible room for one western large light rare earth producer.

IF that does indeed happen, will that have any effect on shareholders?
Sure seems weird to have such a strong alliance with Japanese money, for them to sell out to China...

Anyone liking the Scandium story? It appears the Chinese do not have a monopoly on that metal. John Kaiser still likes
Scandium International Mining (SCY.TO) A few others have scandium deposits, but he feels SCY has first movers advantage. This company used to be called EMC metals corp, but changed names since its now focused 100% on Scandium.

I'm really hoping the rare earth sector is turning a corner...

I believe Lynas now has a 4% stake in NTU. With all the
dilution over the years, their stake in NTU has shrunk.

So Lynas has Japans backing, while Tasman has the EU for support. Both hopefully successful in the future.
Wonder who will be most likely to succeed in North America?
Do we even need a North American rare earth mine?

Forgive my ignorance, does it appear that TAS now has an edge over NTU ?

This could be good news for those in the Lynas camp.

Anyone have opinions on Tasman's PFS?

Isn't scandium like niobium? Where Scandium enhances aluminum, just like niobium enhances iron or steel?
I wonder if scandium will have a nice place in the future?

Thanks Critical investor. I think I understand what your saying.
But if China eventually stops exporting heavies... Some of the above mines will have to do in the West. I'm glad we can distill them down further, and see what they have to offer.

Namibia's PEA.. Was curious if you guys thought this was any better than the other competitors...TAS, Northern, Quest, Ucore...A seven year mine life seemed a bit short IMO.

    Thanks

Lynas is basically at its 52 week low. (LYSCF -.0582)
Not sure how much lower it can really go. Anyone considering buying at this point? Do you think the risk is too much at this point? It just seems like their right around the corner from moving forward in a positive fashion.

    Opinions Please
