TOTALLY and COMPLETELY agree with you. I could not believe the negative response after the earnings report - totally incomprehensible.

  • Authorities are unlikely to file criminal charges against Jon Corzine and other top MF Global execs after concluding that weak risk controls and chaos rather than fraud led to the disappearance of around $1B in customer money, the NYT reports. Regulators are still mulling civil action, while Corzine & Co. also face client lawsuits, which bankruptcy trustee James Giddens has agreed to co-operate with[View news story]
If anywhere across the fruited plain there are a "few good men," this would be a good time for them to stand up. We need bold people of integrity who are not intimidated. Where's the backbone to stand up for what is right? I know it means swimming against a rising and surging tide, but.....Isn't there anyone out there who can't be bought? I am sick of the elite and powerful and theiragenda and of bad people doing bad things and getting away with it. Lawlessness abounds; We cry out for the justice that eludes us.

  • The issue of legality may have been settled on Obamacare, but the debate about the law is just starting to heat up. Republican Rand Paul calls the decision "bone-headed," insisting that "The whole thing remains unconstitutional." Meanwhile, Democrat Nancy Pelosi went out on Twitter to declare "Victory for the American people!" One thing remains for sure: The uncertainty that has plagued the markets over this bill for the past two years shows no signs of abating any time soon.  [View news story]
If you look up http://www.Vigilant and read about Madonna's recent Israeli concert, she moralizes about world peace to her Israeli audience while violence is promoted on stage and women with guns prance around in front of a Satanic cross. She is an example of the elitists who say one thing but mean another using " dual-speak." Nancy Pelosi's twitter, "Victory for the American people!" has a subtext; she is speaking directly to the lowest common denominator, the masses of misled and ignorant who actually will believe that the egregious healthcare law's enactment can be likened to a valiant and worthy battle. It's all an enticement. The cry of "victory" is indeed a pretension; and caring for the American people a deception; and the spoil like Esau giving up his birthtright for a meal.

  • My Best Investment Advice: Watch Your Fellow Investors And Do The Opposite [View article]
Thank-you for this piece; it really is anchoring on a day like today. I'm not panicking or selling; I did purchase some shares in SH (but not enough), which is going up . I will take your advisor-friend's words to heart: savings; inaction; patience; analysis, oh, and do the opposite of what the crowd is frenetically doing.

  • Are These 7 Tobacco Stocks Worth Buying? [View article]
Anyone has a right to smoke if he wants to, and companies have a right to sell a product without government or other intrusion and harrassment or unnecessary burdensome regulations. It enfuriates and sickens me to watch this worldwide bias, a progression towards eliminating smoking and more important the freedom to do so: of course people can't choose but must be told what to do by overcontrolling governments and other intransigents. As to the content of this article, I think it's a fair analysis coming from an interesting perspective and for me worth some contemplation as I am long PM and MO.

  • Apple (AAPL -2.5%) has dived over the last 30 minutes of trading on heavy volume, without any news to explain the move. The decline comes with the NASDAQ still up 0.5% on the day. [View news story]
I am long Aapl, and by that I mean 20 years+ - TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!!. I am passing it on to my kids when I leave this world. It is a sound and prolific company with yet a lot of potential.. Amidst the price fluctuations, I find it to be an exciting company to own. It's my right and prerogative to feel that way, and I will hold onto Aapl.unless something major happens within the company that changes things dramatically and irrevocably for the worse..

  • McDonald's In Crisis, Dividend Growth At Risk [View article]
When I recently was in California, I tried a couple cheeseburgers and fries at an upscale burger restaurant. I believe this chain is truly trying to elevate the burger to new heights with its many distinctive and deluxe kinds of burgers. I very seldom go out to eat when I am home. And while I was away, I didn't mind paying 2 - 3 times more for a burger thinking it might be great. At the end of the day, however, all I can say is I like McDonald's way better. So for me, price-wise and taste-wise,McDonalds' stands the test of time and holds more than its own; so I will still eat there (occasionally) and will stay long on the stock as well.

I understand that what you are saying about the gender of God is not meant to be exclusive but inclusive, that God has both feminine and masculine qualities; I am not offended by this but sort of fascinated by it. However, the Bible I know calls God our Father, and I see no harm in using that appellation.
