Technical analysis of a stock is good, necessary, and advantageous, but sometimes I think there is over-analysis and an almost obsessive. focus on technicals,The numbers are all important and absolutely crucial in taking the temperature of a company, so to speak, but there are elements that are not quite as tangible that also determine the success of a company. Attitude,creativity, vision, character, are a few.

I didn't anticipate Aapl to take a dive like this, but I am not giving up ship. It's disappointing and somewhat painful, but I am in it for the long run.
I believe in Aapl; I'm sick of all the pessimism. Selling every stock that dips would make me nuts. I inherited IBM stock from an aunt years ago, and I totally forgot about it, missing any accompanying mania either positive or negative for quite a few years. Not saying or recommending neglecting one's stocks, but I love IBM, and I love Aapl. Long both.
