  • Why The Federal Employees Health Benefits Letter Is A Big Deal For Belviq [View article]
Well we have this letter AND the start of TV ads and ARNA up a whopping 7 ticks as I write this. Virtually unchanged. Stuck at the $6+ range. What's the problem?

I agree these sentences are relevant, but do not materially change the fact that these drugs cannot be rejected for obesity.

Why don't you buy some leap options and get much more leverage?

  • Is Orexigen Attractive Near 52-Week Lows? [View article]
No snarkiness intended, but if you like the odds why not take a position (I understand there can be many valid reasons that have nothing to do with the opportunity)? I'm thinking of taking one but I'm wondering if there's something holding you back?

  • What Arena's Belviq Television Ad Campaign Means For The Stock [View article]
ARNA up about 3.5% today, about in line with the biotechs in general (slightly below BIB). Sigh.

First it takes them a year to ramp up sales reps to an underwhelming 600, then come out with a so so TV ad? What is wrong with Eisai? I'm sorry but their performance so far has been crap.

Why not start with 600 sales reps and come out with an outstanding TV ad? Is that asking too much for what Eisai is claiming to be a blockbuster drug? I just don't understand all the mediocrity surrounding this marketing campaign from the beginning.

  • What Are The Controlling Arguments For Being Bullish On Gold? [View article]
Seems anyone can mention any and all price possibilities, then cherry-pick past comments and be always correct. Such as this one:

"I have already placed two short trades on gold over the last several weeks and expect further downside follow through. But, I also expect that it will hold support an have one more strong rally - could be as high as 2400 level."

Your comment makes no sense to anyone who does not know about what "convergence cycles" and "C-D cycle" you are talking about.

  • The Coming Week: The Start Of A New Bear Market? Evidence And Real Danger Signals [View article]
Just curious. Regarding those "more volatile tech stocks with big institutional ownership (so when they sell, they sell a lot)", who are they selling to?

It's not the writer that makes the decision to get you banned. It's SA editors. Same with banned comments.

"as a publisher you should look for sales, not content."

Huh? You recommend they select articles for their click value and not the quality of their content, when such a distinction can be made?

They don't want people using mobile apps. They earn no ad revenue that way.

Well timed article. Thursday was a disaster, with the S&P now at about 1830. Are we just letting off steam, or is panic about to rear its ugly head?
