  • Marchers in more than 400 cities across 52 countries took part in protests against Monsanto (MON) today, calling attention to what they say are dangers posed by genetically modified foods. Monsanto is "poisoning our children, poisoning our planet," claims one of the organizers. The company says its seeds help farmers produce more from their land while conserving resources such as water and energy.  [View news story]
Actually the data is clear as to why the bees are dying. That is why that particular pesticide has been banned in Europe. What isn't clear are the implications of GMO's and that is bc MONsatan doesn't have to test these Monstrosities bc they bought Congress and the FDA. Otherwise you'd have very reliable data.

THe standard by which a new food comes to market is not "Well lets just put it out there and see if people die." You're an idiot if you eat this crap based on that logic. And you're an evil selfish pr!ck if you profit from it.

How about you just start selling cocaine? While you're at it put in some chemicals that add to the destructive addictive qualities. I'm sure God will reward you in heaven.

Be sure to feed your children and grandchildren GMO baby food.

REally? How many naturally occurring "suicide genes" have survived evolution? And what happens when those genes cross pollinate? Do you even know the vile evil monstrosities this company forces on people? Deja Vu, may you reincarnate in a war torn land and gain 1st hand experience of the weapons of Monsatan. Remember that little Viet Namese girl scarred by Napalm. What if that was your child?

What if it didn't even have to be someone you knew for you to give a damn? What if you started thinking about something beyond your worthless money and tried to feed your soul and have empathy and compassion?

What if you just had a conscience and demanded that this company follow the law not just destroy the democratic process re-writing it to fit their own scumbag schemes?

You want to rise and fall with Monsanto? You will soon regret that decision. The whole world hates you. You are on your knees to a demon and you think that you are rich. The tables have already turned. You are simply printing currency to avoid the disaster which is inevitable and at your doorstep. Repent or reap what you sow.

You mean unlike Monsatan which has no science whatsoever to back up their claims that this POISON is safe. It seems that buying Senators and FDA appointments is easier and more convenient than actually providing data.

Aspertame by the way is a Monsatan product and its poison. I claim it is poison. What do you plan to do skippy? Want to come look at my science?

Start with sa google search. Try "Monsanto Evil" Here's a nice link to get you started. May you reap the misery you sow. Every one of you.

  • The U.S. Supreme Court rules in favor of Monsanto (MON -0.5%) in a patent infringement case involving a farmer who essentially made copies of MON's Roundup resistant soybeans by obtaining some from a grain elevator and using them to replant his crop. The court's decision was unanimous.  [View news story]
Anyone who makes a dime of profit on Monsatan is participating in the destruction of the planet and the rape of the people. May you open your eyes and begin to oppose this evil fascist or may your children reap the cancers and genetic malformities that you so eagerly spread. And may it cost your entire fortune times ten to watch them perish. And may God have mercy on your soul.

  • To no one's surprise, investors are enthusiastic about buying debt from a very profitable large-cap with $145B in cash/investments and (currently) no debt. Apple's (AAPL) plans to borrow (and thereby avoid paying taxes on offshore cash) to help pursue its goal of returning $100B to shareholders by the end of 2015 has already led many institutions to express interest, and S&P and Moody's to respectively assign ratings of AA+ and Aa1. Some think Apple, whose rates will likely be well below the 3% dividend yield now offered by its stock, could raise over $50B[View news story]
Except Tim Cook. How does someone sit there, watch the value of his company cut in half and not come out swinging. He's a playground pick-upon. M, had they announced this buyback/dividend when the stock was rallying ain the 470's it might be above 500 now. Anyone think that Cook is manipulating the stock downward to get in lower? So much for maximizing customer experience with Apple.

  • "We think that Apple could be on the brink of driving a major leveraging up," writes JPMorgan's Mark Moskowitz in a voluminous note defending the stock. He believes the company will take on $15B-$20B in debt and bump the dividend yield to 4%. As far as operations, Moskowitz expects an earnings beat this quarter and upward pressure on estimates for 2013. AAPL +0.9% premarket.  [View news story]
Borrowing at l.9% and holding your capital beats the hell out of re-patriating it and paying 40% in taxes.

And if thats the case he should be tarred and feathered. And thrown in prison. It is not his role to decimate the stock so he can pick up a few on the cheap.

  • Apple (AAPL) is likely to more than double its dividend this year, says Morgan Stanley's Katy Huberty after talking to CFO Peter Oppenheimer. Corporate Finance 101: She suggests the company can get around the issue of cash held overseas by funding payouts with low-interest debt rather than repatriation. Shares +0.7% premarket.  [View news story]
Why doesn't Obama fund an asset repatriation program wherein that capital can come back tax free to invest in business and the like on the home front? We'll get a lot more tax revenue by unlocking those over seas dollars and funding jobs.

And why doesn't Apple take the lead in the Green Revolution. There is the next big thing.

  • Will Apple Exist 3 Years From Now? How Much Will It Be Worth?  [View article]
Let me tell you two things. 1. If petrochemicals do not go out of style in the very near future none of our portfolios will be worth a damn bc we'll all be living in a post apocalyptic world. 2. At that time you can wheel a citibank full of greenbacks to my farm an it won't be worth an ear of corn or a box of bullets.

There was a world b4 fossil fuels and the US dollar and there will be one after. So invest in Citi, Exon and all the other corporate fascist murderers like MOnsatan. But you're a fool to think $$$ never goes out of style. I've got a wheel barrrel full of Confederates.

  • A worrying trend or a contrarian indicator? Leon Cooperman's Omega Advisors was far from the only big hedge fund to unload its Apple (AAPL) position in Q4. Joining Omega were Dan Loeb's Third Point, Thomas Steyer's Farallon Capital, Barry Rosenstein's Jana Partners, John Burbank's Passport Capital, and Eric Mindich's Elton Park Capital. On the other hand, David Einhorn's Greenlight Capital raised its stake to 1.3M shares from 1.1M and bought 275K call options ahead of its Prop. 2 suit (13F). None of those gadget makers were software giants w/their own eco system who made miscellaneous billions thru iTunes and the like. AAPL makes more on the conservative returns from their cash pile than some of the companies you mention earn in revenue.

  • David Einhorn says he has met with Tim Cook and CFO Peter Oppenheimer in recent weeks about his preferred stock proposal, and that the two sides continue to talk in spite of his lawsuit. Einhorn adds Cook has been more receptive than Oppenheimer, and that he remains a fan of the Apple (AAPL +1.7%) CEO's performance. Meanwhile, the sell-side is giddy at the prospect of fresh dividends/buybacks: Barclays thinks Apple can increase its payout by 30%-40% without tapping overseas cash. (more[View news story]
