  • Chesapeake Energy - Prospects Of A Company Sale And The Secured Lending Weapon  [View article]
My opinion is that only in a dream world would these big companies buy into more "failed" fracking investments.....seismic events, flooded drill sites/water contamination for surface spill risks, droughts/climate change/methane losses, the current SoCal well control catastrophe in Calif, people fighting fracking in their backyards, Chesapeake litigation (get in line)...UrbanDrilling greed brought the spotlight on fossil fuels. Now many women have taken in the knowledge and awareness of fracking risks near people and their property has pushed many (with each passing drought, tornado, or flood) to want renewable energy choices that are becoming more affordable by the day. The energy shift is happening more normality in the O&G future.... +1.5 degrees is the #COP21 goal. Keeping it in the ground doesn't help fire sales for fossil fuel assets.

  • Chesapeake Energy - Enough Is Enough  [View article]
Lots of litigation with this company with royalty shorting concerns....they have no incentive to employ emission control technologies like catalytic convertors on their lift compressors in the urban areas they move in on....once the Cushing OK big one (frackquake) happens and the strategic supply goes a big BOOM....people will be so scared of natural gas....NG is the stepchild of fossil fuels and always will be and is no cinderella in waiting...just kaboom anticipating. The sun and wind are free energy inputs...the jobs in restructuring our energy economy is the next windfall for our country...we can lead or get out of the way...either way...economics will drive us off of fossil fuels...better sooner cause later will be too late.

  • Royal Dutch Shell - Is Arctic Drilling The Best Idea?  [View article]
The only drill baby drill thang we should be considering is starving off global warming by fracking and tapping methane hydrates from beneath the ocean floor to minimize their venting into the atmosphere....big oil & gas got us into this mess, now they need to employ all their resources to get us out of this global warming mess.

NG=dinosaur fossil and wind are where the future is at because the inputs (sun & wind) have zero cost....fracking has extreme costs to the bottom lines of these brave companies buying into the shale bubble

Don’t forget that the LNG export commitments will also create a demand as supply deminishes...but Chesapeake can always come back to Arlington Gasland TX in our densly populated neighborhoods and near our schools and finish the build out not using Best Emission Control Technologie$$$...ooops they already drilled the “sweet spots” though? hmmph so much for American energy security and affordable gas....oh well those power plants can just switch back to coal when NG price gets too high...what can the chemical companies do but raise their prices cause their NG feedstock is going up in price...but hey the stock market players will win?
