I have to say, the GS news is music to my ears. Even tho things are far from hunky dory with Sirius....it sure is good to see GS getting some of it's own medicine.

How sweet would a role reversal be? Ah, a guy can dream can't he?

Anyway...4:30 should be interesting. Got my fingers crossed. Although Mel floating those lower projections was NOT a good omen. Some people are saying it was a "head fake" on Mel's part to fool the shorts. But does anyone really think such tactics are necessary when we are THIS low???

These next 3 months can't pass quick enough. After that the refinance, RS and dilution issues will have been addressed, and we will know for sure if it was worth it to hold this long.

Sirius SUCKS!

Why?

First Mel promises merger not necessary but GOOD for the company. (We were at $4 then).

Then the 17 month merger delay from hell. (As Mel continues to say shareholders WILL benefit).

THEN Merger is APPROVED....BUT Mel sells us out to the shorts setting a $1.50 price which is then ripped to shreds by the aforementioned shorts down to .20 cents.

THEN Sirius issues a proxy for a 1 for 50 reverse split AND 4 BILLION more shares.

Stifel Lowers Sirius Estimates on Weak Auto Sales

But the 800lb Gorilla in the room for longs besides the debt is the REAL threat of a 1 for 50 Reverse Split.

I am pretty confident they'll get the debt refinanced. But the RS scares the SHIT out of me.

I'd be better off selling now than face that bullshit.

It'd be the ULTIMATE slap in the face to ANYONE who has been LONG this stock. Who has supported Mel all this time only to be stabbed in the back.

My 10,000 shares would INSTANTLY become 200!!!!

And Sirius is not like Apple. It's not going to then go from $8 to over $100.

The inflated RS share price will be like ringing the friggin dinner bell for the shorts. They'll come in and rip my 200 shares to pieces.

What's Behind Sirius' Big Gain?

Sirius XM NEEDS to advertise. There is NOT ONE commercial yet telling the world that they are one. NOBODY besides us fanboys KNOW they've MERGED! Where are the ads featuring Brett Favre pitching the NFL on Sirius XM? Where are the top music personalities hawking the product showing how COOL it is? Yes...advertising costs Millions. But NOT advertising is COSTING us MILLIONS too.

Last night on Fast Money Mackey said he LOVED the product and has both Sirius and XM in his car....and then he BASHED the stock. This stock gets ZERO love. Even when it POPS 40% in one day when most of the market is down. Unbelievable.

Mel NEEDS to refinance this Debt like YESTERDAY. ENOUGH of this bullshit.

Slow Car Sales Mean More Bad News for Satellite Radio

We must be in the "Bizarro World"....because Tyler is saying the SLOW car sales means MORE bad news for Sirius.....while THE STREET DOT COM is saying that it DOESN'T MATTER! That Sirius will buck the slowing car sales and weather the storm. They even go on to say if Mel gets favorable refinancing for the Feb debt, that Sirius could head back to $4.

Both Tyler and Brandon have been slightly negative lately and the Street dot com is positive? WTF? Lol.

Sirius Retail Sales Questions Left Unanswered

As a loyal Sirius subscriber and shareholder, you asked me to write back if I had any thoughts, and I have a BIG ONE.


The complete lack of promotion by Sirius of the NFL.

I understand that Mel is still working out some details before airing a commercial about the merger…but the fact that for the last 3 years there has been ZERO exposure in retail stores or on TV about the NFL being on Sirius…is an OUTRAGE.

Remember those XM commercials for Baseball? I don’t even watch Baseball, but I can’t get Big Poppy’s voice out of my friggin head…”EBREY TEAM EBREY GAME!”

Now THAT is brand recognition. Sirius, pardon the pun has DROPPED THE BALL in regards to the NFL.

Where are the displays in Best Buy? Where are the ads on TV? The football season is about to start, and NOTHING. They could have nabbed Brett Favre for a funny commercial about switching teams. With Brett saying XM listeners don’t have to switch teams to listen to the NFL now.

Or what about the newly acquired MAD DOG doing a commercial about the NFL??? Then you’d kill TWO birds with one stone, promoting the NFL AND the MAD DOG show.

WHATEVER…the point is…I have enormous faith in the future of Sirius. But it’s things like this that drive me nuts. Don’t the shareholders have ENOUGH stress coming in the forms of shorts, bashers, Cramer and Goldman Sachs….without having stress coming from inhouse?

Lets go Mel! I know you said after Labor Day…but there are still some things that could be done NOW.

Why Isn't There a Sirius iPod?

With the apps "usirius" and "uxm" you CAN listen to Sirius and Xm on the ipod right now, although thru a WiFi connection only.

The ONLY way Apple would build an ipod with Satellite built in would be if the songs played on sat radio could be BOUGHT thru itunes with the click of a button. Otherwise....why? I know it makes sense for apple to do this, as it would sell more ipods....but last I checked, they are selling alot of ipods as is. Besides, they'd have to make the ipods THICKER....and I don't think Apple wants to do that.
