I just got an email, A press release from SIRIUS XM!!! The skydock is now available nationwide!!! lol...What a product launching by the company. A little late, it's been out in my area for about 3 weeks, and on their website for weeks. Maybe they cut the budget on their staff that handles press releases and they will run on a 2-3 week delay. Well, maybe now they can make a commercial since it is officially released now.

SIRIUS XM, needs to give up on creating devices with their brand. They should allow 3rd parties to create devices that play SIRIUS XM content. I remember it being a requirement during the merger hearings to allow other companies to make satelite capable devices. They have tried with the XMP3, Stilletto to compete in the portable player market and got killed by Apple, microsoft, and every other portable device maker. At this time they need to allow their content to be played on these other devices, such as ipod, etc....Sirius XM should not try to compete with an apple Ipod touch...they will lose easily. They need to have as many people as possible have access to their exclusive content weather on an ipod, xmp3, built in car radio, Onyx, etc... SIRIUS XM needs to be a content provider, not a device seller. I agree with RAF on this one....
People need to start saying, for example "You heard that show on SIRIUS XM last night."....and no one cares what device...it doesnt matter.

Also, No disrespect is meant in any of my posts. I don't make any personal attacks on anyone. I may attack a "fact" or something that tries to be portrayed as factual. I respect peoples "opinions". Sometimes, we just have different views and we need to discuss. If my statements come across as "overboard", don't take it personal. If we all just posted how great SIRI was,...the blog would be useless....

I am long SIRIUS, I have had XM since 2002 and want the best for the company. However, I do point out when I think "news" is being manipulated positive or negatively. Thursday is when the truth will come out. Well, assuming Mel K is not a crook that will lie to us....I have to trust him.... ..SIRI-DOOM....lol...save your breath/post...I know you thin Mel Karmazin is a crook...Good day all...

You wrote posts like this on every site that spoke about SIRI, you said the stock would go down to $.20 or so, fire sale. You said a rev-split was coming soon, you said SIRI would be d-listed etc....Can you admit at least that you were wrong on that? There was no fire sale, the letter didnt do much harm to the stock price. You went on for weeks about this d-listing warning letter....Be honest at this point. Now, you keep saying this rev-split is coming and will be a disaster. In fact, I think the rev-split will be a good thing. There are too many shares outstanding. also,,,in the past you didnt say d-listing notice...You were saying they would be d-listed, to generate fear....c'mon be honest..Your post are on record..

I maintain that saying that there is a partnership betwen apple and SIRIUS XM is a lie. An agreement is not a partnership, to my knowledge. I am not a lawyer. Google makes an iphone app, so are Google and Apple "partners"? Google will help iphone sales, Apple will help Android sales, I think not! These companies have "agreements" to allow an application to be made for the Apple device. Brandon and others know the difference , but use partnership in place of agreement to try to boost the propaganda. Go read his articles, he puts "partnership" in BOLD letters! If I make an iphone app and apple approves it, I am their partner? lol I wish!
Where is the proof of this Blackbery app? Can someone post a link to this press release? I would love to see it. A press release for a Blackberry app to compete with the iphone app would not be a secret! Someone, please find that press release from a reliable source! People on this blog saying how great this news is, when the news is a Lie....unless someone posts this press release, it is a lie.

SIRI-DOOM, I have read many of your posts. At first I thught you were crazy saying these are paid bloggers. However, after reading their posts for months, you may be right. I don't think they are paid by SIRIUS XM, but they obvious post lies to try to pump up the stock. I read blog after blog with outright lies. For example this author has said,
1)a SIRIUS XM, APPLE partnersip that this author continously refers to..
2) This author has said that the demand for the skydock would be so high, stores wouldnt be able to keep it in stock, he even brought on some clown to say pre-orders were really high before it came out. total lie
3)This bogus article saying there is a Blackberry app other than the current garbage app for $7.99, yet not on their website anywhere!
4) ok...I could go on...Go google some of the ridiculous articles he wrote trying to pump the stock. lol....He said there was a huge demand in China for the SKYDOCK...Chinese wanted dock just to charge their phone and for revolutionary fm modulator ...no satelite signal in china..
I agree about censorship on some of these sites such as satwaves. However, SIRI-DOOM, you tend to post repetitive lies that deserve to be deleted. For example, you posted 100's of D-listing, rev-split lies that never came true...You and RAF, continously try to outpost each other on many sites, with lies from both sides. I wish you both would give it a break ....Also, can people stop taking what this Brandon guy says as Gold. Don't people question his sources? Just because somebody has a website, doenst make hime a source of truth! If there is a blackberry app, Mel K, better announce it this coming Thursday! If there is an apple partnership, let be announced Thursday! If not, this guy is a flat out liar!! LOL...these posts are so entertaining. We have SIRI-DOOM as the "villian" and RAF and this Brandon guy coming to save the day with all their lies or over exaggeration of facts. Brandon does all he can to hype up any glimmer of hope for the company. He announces "partnerships" between apple and SIRIUS XM, that neither company knows about, he announces a Blackberry app, that neither company knows about. He announces the international demand for the Skydock, and my local Bestbuy can't sell any in NY. Then RAF, says "great article" Brandon, you are the best....the company is now trading on fundamental strength, blah, blah, blah......lol...uses a lot of big words for no reason such as "reinforces the perception of resilience and buoyancy to excrabaluatuatestestes... "....other than to say...SIRI is great and tries to sound like a professional stock analyst....says basically the same thing on every post, just like SIRI-DOOM does, but the opposite slant.....uses key words such as "fundamental strength" "positive", etc in every post...accuses anyone that speaks against SIRI as being SIRI-DOOM. ENOUGH!!!! Brandon is on record saying he bought more shares of the stock and is hoping for a big pump for the 3rd quarter conference...what better way than to fabricate a new Blackberry app. Next he will say there is a Backberrry "partnership"!! I can't believe ETRADE allows this to be linked through their site! There should be consequences for reporting falsities...If I was an idiot investor that gave "thumbs up" for all things positive irreguardless of what's fact, i would be losing a lot of money.......Note" I know irreguardless is not a word.....just like there is no new blackberry app! Ask this brandon guy to post the link to this press release!! It doesnt exist...lol...I saw a preview to "stock shock" Tyler Savery was in it....lol....he has since changed his name....When will Brandon change to a new alias?

Smartphone Apps Score: Pandora 4, Sirius XM 0

I noticed some very important things from the apple iphone app screen shot shown from the last meeting. What stuck out to me was that the iphone app and other smart phone apps were on target for the second quarter. This would indicate that a blackberry and windows mobile app is soon to be launched also. They already had an app for blackberry but it was a ill conceived app. You paid $7.99 for 20 sirius xm stations. I love my xm, but that was a rip off when I already had a subscription. When the service is available to all smartphones, I would imagine that in a few years more people will listen to sirius xm throug phones than sirius xm radios. The radios will be in most cars in a few years and then everyone has a phone these days. So Sirius XM will be availalbe to most people everywere and justify the cost to them. They have in car, work, gym, house, etc...They would not have to buy additional equipment which I believe is the main hurdle. They already have their cell phones. Pandora will be shut down soon, its just a matter of time. The music industry cant let people have free music. Pandora may be a great service, but the music industry isnt a charity orginaization giving a way "great service" for free! Sirius will be the new radio for the new generation! They need to drop the word "satelite" as that will be just one way to get the signal. It should be just Sirius XM Radio, or Sirius XM entertainement,
