    Florin- thanks. according to this data the prices appears to stay within 0.5% of NAV for the majority of the time, almost never over 1% off, and for the life of GLD fund, has never been more than 2% off the NAV : www.etfconnect.com/sel...

    so in my view, it cannot be manipulated by much and not for long. cheers.

    can someone explain how the GLD ETF could be manipulated by traders? my understanding was that each share was 1/10th ounce of Au and priced at 1/10th the current spot price of gold.
