Sold out of MDBX after the last earnings report. Long GWPH, FITX & HEMP in this space. IMO the best pics to outperform in the MMJ space going forward.

  • LifeVantage: Deteriorating Performance And Red Flags Signal Significant Short Opportunity [View article]
True I have been with the company since their first year as a network marketing company and was smart enough to load up for under .35 a share. I sold near $3 to diversify my portfolio due to the enormous gains and will now be adding @ $1.50 and below. You can't just invalidate an entire company just because it has a MLM business model otherwise HLF, NUS, TUP & USNA to name a few would all be near 0. Apparantly Ackman believes MLM means short and look how that worked out for him. Meanwhile Icahn and Buffet just profit from the fear he and others like him stir. I think i'll stick with the other side of the trade and stay long.

Did you see the recent form 4 where Michael loaded up on more share for himself and his child. His spouse son and himself all hold shares in an IRA. -very telling

After a 500% return I cashed in and now it represents less than 5% of my portfolio as my spec play so I think i'm safe. But I agree that many people have all their funds tied up into employee stock purchase plans.

I sold in early 2013 and took profit much higher. I have been looking for a good entry point because as a distributor who attends events and has insider views on what is going on IMO any price under $2 is a screaming buy. But you will allow me to load up at much lower prices won't you? -Merry Christmas to you too!

Great story Paulo. Netflix shares had the same overreaction recently when Icahn sold his shares. I purchased that dip and took my profit buying into TTWO at 16.02 earlier this week. This stock goes higher from here.

  • LifeVantage: A Growth Stock Available For A Pittance [View article]
Lifevantage has been a publicly traded company since 2004. It was taken from pink sheets to being listed on the Nasdaq in 2012. I have been an owner of the stock since 2009.

HLF is a mature MLM company in stabilization mode. You must take risk to make money. LFVN is risky but has yet to go through the momentum growth curve which is what you want to be holding the stock through.

Small stocks like this are volatile and speculative but the bank takes the gains like they do from any other investment.

Jason's departure is unfortunate but not for investors. He was the top guy in the company and with his dismissal there is no one above him for the residual income to roll up to so all his income becomes revenue kept by the company. Also whatever he was dismissed for must have potentially been a negative drag on the company's growth and earnings which is now removed and could become a catalyst moving forward.

    Long LFVN.

  • Netflix Demonstrates Strong Performance; Stock Remains Richly Valued [View article]
Nobody cares about Netflix's fundamentals or people would have stopped buying it a long time ago. The few people that invest based on Icahns purchases and sales are probably shaken out already. I mean an investor booking profit who has ever heard of such a thing. Realize this company has some of the best growth out there and will continue to go higher after consolidating a little bit. LONG until the growth slows!

  • TripAdvisor Earnings Preview: Traffic Growth Will Outweigh Meta-Display Headwinds [View article]
I just got back from 2 weeks in Costa Rica and every place I went they requested I check them out and give them reviews on Trip Advisor. This site was used as a primary driver of tourism traffic by all the top places I engaged in all four cities I visited.

  • Does the tumble in Whole Foods Market (WFM) following its FQ1 report showing slowing sales and margin trends look any different in light of what could be a wider consumer spending pinch - highlighted dramatically by a leaked Wal-Mart self-assessment? Though the firm still expects double-digit growth and is a dominant brand in its niche, a line from the grocery store operator's earnings call resonates even louder with retail sales looking troubling. WFM on margins: "...we intend to expand our value offerings across the store." (transcript[View news story]
I went to my first #WholeFoods ever in January 2013 and I was shocked how much better the food tasted. With their recent opening they are now the closest grocery store and only place I have shopped since. 5 times in the last 30 days. I get door to door organic service already and their offering's for ex. let's take a beet. Theirs are less than half the size of what you find in Whole Food's and they spank them on freshness to. As a #culinary major before I got into #mortgage this is very important to me. I have even lost weight eating organic more.

I like their 365 brand but would be interested in what the margins are on it compared to other brand names they have on the shelf. It seems like almost daily I get alerts from Scottrade that they are signing deals to open new stores in the out years 2014 - 2016. I'm a buyer of this shareholder friendly company that can self fund that kind of growth.
