    It IS a recession. Now.

    GDP has been falling since 2005.
    Unemployment as calculated pre-Clinton is over 14%.
    Inflation as calculated in 1990 is 13%

    Many voters won't forget that their elected representatives decided to take money out of their children's pockets to save the bankers from stupid gambles they made in return for big bonuses.
