    If I draw up some of my own coupons with pictures of dead presidents do you think they would sell me a car?

    What you propose would result in hyperinflation. Might as well print up enough money to send every adult American citizen a billion dollar check. Prices for everything would shoot to the moon in no time.

    Once you start printing money to buy stuff, the line will form and everyone will want to sell the gub'mint their inventory in the name of reviving their business.
