    It's a BEAR market. Has been since Nov 2007.

    Wrong time to buy because prices are "low". Expect earnings to fall further than forecast. Yields will drop, dividends too.

    Wait for the next bull leg to start before buying. For now, compile and winnow your list on a regular basis so you will be ready when the Bull returns.
