Cash for Clunkers: What Can the Government Buy You Next?

Many water districts/utilities are already doing that. I got $100 rebate toward .6 gal power flush that cost $250, replacing 10-20 year old toilets that took 5+ gallons per flush. Water is getting more and more scarce.

Very inspirational, the US is a great place to live. But as all the commenters pointed out, financially it has serious problems. Also the encroaching socialism and politics take precedence over laws (greedy Unions, Illegal immigration)
