Can you imagine what Q4 '08 would have looked like for eBay had it not been for the Cashback bounce?

eBay claims that cashback was totally funded by MS, but these days I don't believe statements from any big corporation, especially eBay.

IMO 8% is too small of a refund for all the hoop jumping required.

Go here, do this, go there, do that, hop on one leg while humming the theme to Star Wars, ........etc.
And then wait 60 or more days for it to hit your PayPal account?!!?

(I just made that up about Star Wars for Scot's sake)

It looks like eBay's employees are just as unhappy as it's customers, the sellers.

They do rate J Donahoe, at 20% approval, higher than most sellers would rate the bum.

What Will Become of eBay?

It's common knowledge that smart Generals will listen to the troops.
They're the ones in the trenches, and know what they need, and how best to fight the war.

eBay's Generals TELL their troops (sellers) what they need, and what is good for them.
These paper Generals forget that theirs is an all volunteer army, and most of the 'troops' are going, or plan to go, AWOL!!!
