    Dave
Love your comments and insights. I have been into ILF since last Dec, but added EWZ early this year as it was performing better. Brazil is a great place to invest, and you can choose ILF, EWZ or the new kid on the block BRF.
And Dave, you're right. Many markets are tracking the same. Though my two cents would be to add either JNK or HYG to your bond charts as they are the high-yield variety which could be interesting in relation to the security conscious Treasuries.
    Thanks

As I said previously, went to the mall and saw many people shopping at crate and barrel, pottery barn etc. Then home depot was crowded as well. Maybe it's just the people not impacted by the recession that were buying, but with back to school etc, maybe people are tired of being tired, and decided to go shopping. For awhile now, we've heard that we're bottoming, and not falling as much as we were last year. Well, bottoming is better than falling.
Retail sales were better than expected, and the market is moving higher. For a longtime I've used VNQ (real estate etf) as an indicator. If it's going up, the market's going up. It broke through 40 early this week. Thanks Dave for all your insights. I check your commentary first thing in the morning. Of course, being on the west coast, many get here before me.

Thanks for writing in what must be a trying time for you.

I'll tell you, I was at the mall last weekend, and people are buying. Now maybe it's the well-off who aren't feeling the pinch, or back to school and getting the kids what they need, or carry-over from cash for clunkers. But whatever it was, I think 3rd qtr figures are going to be better than expected, and consumer spending is picking up. JMO.

Thanks for your insights and adding HYG. Seems like nothing can really move in any significant direction these days. Start down, end up, or start up and then trade down. I guess we're just waiting for after Labor Day.

Thanks Dave. I would like to see one of the high-yield bond ETFs such as HYG or JNK to get a better picture of how they are responding in this market. Sure does seem to be ready to rest. Thanks for all you do.

What about that new BRF for Brazil small caps? How is that doing in your book? Less weight to PBR so provides better indicator of Brazil consumer economy. Always appreciate your insights.

    cont.
will be more interesting. What happens if the green shoots don't appear? How hard and fast do we fall? If this "recovery" stumbles, the fall could be worse than last October. Let's hope the powers that be know what they're doing and can keep the ship afloat.

Good bye and good luck to those who want to leave. I want to see the charts and comments by David, not by you anyway. If you're that good of a trader, what are you doing here?

I appreciate Dave's comments and insights. Brazil is a great place to invest. I got ILF and EWZ.

Thanks for your inclusion of HYG in your recent charts. I've been using it along with BND for the bond portion of my ETF portfolio. HYG adds some spice to the safety of BND. It will be interesting to see how HYG performs over the next few months.
I always appreciate your comments. Hope your wife is recoverying well.
