China: Assigning Blame

Do you blame a train wrack on the locomotive enginner for speeding beyond the speed limit (over-leveraging)? Or do you blame the control system (Wall Street?) Hey, let's blame the passengers for paying fees that finance and richly rewarded the unscrupulous rail service company.

Do you blame the Titanic on the ship architect (overconfidance of unproven new derivative products)? Or the captain (Fed)? Or less lifeboat seats than crew/passenger count (over-leveraging)? Why not blame it on the workers in the lower decks (who, by the way, had no access to lifeboats after Titanic hit the iceburg).

The whole world is linked like a train, key countries share the powering of the train, but there is no question which country is the locomotive, the engineer, the captain, and the architect of the capitalist system that we all live in. In stead of devicing some strange theory in order to shift blame to someone else, a responsible dominent leaders that Anglosphere/USA has been for the last 300 years, we whould just own up to our responsibility and take leadership. Other countries know that they are on the same boat and will have to do their parts to keep this boat from the same fate of the Titanic. Attempts to shift blame convince no one and break the trust needed to face this crisis together.
