  • Arena's Belviq Sales Dip On Holiday Week [View article]
Dude I am a walking advertisement. My insulin has stabilized for the first time in years as a diabetic and my insulin usage is down from 120 units a day to 52 units a day. I am not alone. These same results are coming from other Belviq users. You may choose to believe or not. I don't really care.

Where was Vivus on the list with Q? Did I miss it or couldn't they afford the $25 entry fee?

Spencer this is a generalization article and if you are a generalist it is fair. One thing to consider from an advertising perspective is that all elements have to occur at the right time. Is today the best time to advertise or after more insurance companies allow for payment. I would like you to track what other companies have done in this regard. How soon or late did they start advertising. In Eisai's case when after approval did they start advertising Aciphex. That could give you a strategic clue. How soon after they started advertising did Aciphex take off? Clues can be very helpful.

Hi Spencer...just an update ARNA closed at $6.98 and is at $7 right now. As I called it this morning. Coincidence...no just Wall Street gambling.

Spencer not to argue a point but pre-market or during market makes no difference. $7 is where they want it to close (+ or minus a nickel) and you know why! Thiefs and that is why I don't play options.

  • Arena Stock Reacts To Sales Pace [View article]
Hi Spencer...Let me bring up something that is missing in the article. Unfortunately Arena has weekly options. The individuals that want options to expire worthless want Arena to close at $7. With the fall of VVUS today along with people hoping scripts from IMS (worthless in my opinion just wait for Symphony to get more accuracy which you pointed out) it made it quite easy for the forces that be to close this at $7. This stuff needs to be pointed out when talking at all about price which you mention (down 3% based on script numbers alone). Thanks.

The safest option is Belviq so stop with the great safety of Q. Fine you are an investor in Q. But don't make it sound like Q's safety profile even comes close to B's. I don't even need Phen added to Belviq. Some people may and it will still be safer than Q.

Spencer that is where we differ. It is way too early to discern whether Belviq will be a success. So to say Belviq is not off to a good start is short sighted literally and figuratively. Let's look at script numbers on Friday and reevaluate.
