  • Why I Wouldn't Own Microsoft [View article]

When you say its going to be a bloodbath, maybe for certain divisions like Windows, Nokia that arent what they used to be. When your running a company as large as MSFT that hasnt changed in decades, reorg is needed. They will have sector shift toward divisions like hoolens, cloud, gaming and mobile. That can be similar to tech taking over jobs that are being transitioned.

Really, acloud business thats adding $1B every quarter, highly doubt that its a bloodbath. Im pretty sure they are laying off in hololens and cloud too. Opening up 20 data centers globally and opening up pipe across bit rates of over 1TBps toward hybrids. let see them layoff on a sector rotating into Europe and all mobile expansion into EMEA.

CSCO partnership was genius, they needed it to go with McAfee embedded software for data infrastructure security. Look for deeper and deeper penetration into BRRY as they battle PaloAlto and Aistra on firewall tier-level caches.

dude I totally agree with you, that cash though is going to be important for that growth. They can acquire hella companies in the future and see margins increase shifting over to software. That Watchdox company they acquired opened them up into new market for enterprise file security. Think this is something Elephant missed out on growth trajectory of the future. They can do some financing and spinoff divisions to raise added cash for acquisitions.

All it'll take is one breach and people will be flocking to BES12. Just look at Sony and them moving its whole mobile ecosystem to Blackberry. You can chalk that up to quality even in old hardware.

what was the statement he made that required a link? I'd like to see KIA's link to bbry not being able to hit data rates in exabytes. ALl they have to do is expand capacity, so cheap in this day & age.
