Innovation goes to Intel, not Apple. For $1500, it is weaker then its predecessors, what a waste of money.

totally agree, just idea of using pen in meaning eliminates need for paper/pen need. clloud syncing n note taking, no need to draw pic of diagrams when you take pic n drop into onenote. Even use as presentation device casting n syncing

ACtually desktop applications are touch authenticated when Windows 10 comes into play. You'll see more since Surface Pro 3 can finally hit more potential as Haswell chip compression rates of normal PCs. Even Skylake chips will compress toware 10nm & 14nm rates toward powerPC embedded.

Intel late w/ compressions so now mobility of ARM will be obsolete.

I use remote desktop or tunnel to run full programs if needed and monitor my servers. I've installed DRam cards so do all that and can manage them remotely.

ARM is only in Chromebooks, hardly in PC space. ARM may die slow death w/ MCore sets coming. No doubt they want in mobile too. If thye htting 14% you would see them everywhere, I see Macs everywhere and they only got 7% or something.

    does Android work w/ ChromeOS?

No I'm not, you can use remote terminal run on server or VM, I can run anything I want. I'm using both but you can run anything w/ VM or remote teriminal.

Not form what I hear, IMO I hear developers complain of having to write on 2 diff platforms. Otherwise Windows & RT would mimic each other similar to Mac OS & iOS. If you think of Windows 10, the morphing of 2 platforms is being praised by developers all around.

For Google does Android work w/ ChromeOS? ARM isnt in PC space to my knowledge.

Im not contradicting myself, fact is avg person cant understand how to use Surface to max capacity. Ive tried to explain this to many users and it doesnt compute. Similar to fact you can remote tether to tvs and use One Note sync w/ Skype for conferencing, not everyone will use device to full potential.

The only reason they released RT was Intel chip killed the battery of OV Surface Pro. Battery fan killed w/ only 5-6hr battery. Next gen incr to 8hrs now MCore set or Skylake will be coming out.

You do make good pt w/ marketing that they're confusing but SP3 solved all that as tablet replacing laptops. ARm/x86 is problem on any platform.

Power user = user using power programs CAD, CS, GIS, ArcSite which have hardware high requirements

everyday user = everyday use email, video, music

Specifics arent vague as everyday use isnt equivalent to CAD CS
