Gee, with your economically focused, highly intelligent (mentally mast*&bating) brain. You can not even come up with a rational argument to back up your numbers. You are a troll, trying to get hits on your lame, loser, women haters club website. A website full simple minded, wannabe neo-tech, wannabe new freakonomics, assertions. Get a life. And next time you want to bash on stock boards, at least come up with some proof to back up what you say.
Two More Reasons I Think Housing Has Hit Bottom [View article]
With foreclosures still going up and unemployment still going up, we will not have hit bottom until housing is at least around the prehousing market boom levels. With all of those housing gains being wiped out. Look at oil, uranium, financials etc...

The B of A is owned by Rothschild/Rockerfelle... and will certainly not "fail". But we could have a deeper recession or a depression and the bank stocks will then plummet.
Brandon, you usually come on these blogs and back up what you say when everyone piles up on you. You didn't do that today. I think you'll probably spend the weekend trying to dig yourself out of this hole. I hope your future posts are honest and sincere. It seems as if you flip a coin to decide if your going to write a positive or negative post.
Brandon, the fact that your numbers only included the auto subs leaves me to beleive you are either stupid or dishonest. Are you kidding me??? Could that have just been a brain fart? If so, you are in the wrong business. If you are just dishonest, then you are in the right business...
Go ahead inflate the dollar some more while the rest of us stock up on gold at dirt cheap prices. They're going to intentionally crash the dollar soon to make way for the one world currency, so why should we trust this little pop in the dollar.
Relmor, I am in the middle of reading the deep capture story and the video of Cramer talking blatently about how he disregards the law when trading stocks brings me to the obvious conclusion that he pulled a pump and dump scam on this stock. I would suggest all sirius longs go to the webpage and check out the video. You could also read about him in the "players" section on the same site. He was blowing his horn about stocks as a journalist saying they would triple and they all jumped up around 50%. ..OH Yeah...and he owned them all. The SEC did an investigation on him and Dow Jones went to bat for him and paid his $700,000 legal bill. Now do you realize why he regurgitates on a daily basis how he only owns some of the stocks through his "charitable trust fund". After the investigation I guess someone schooled him on a loophole(he talks a lot about loopholes on the video) on pumping stocks legally with a charitable trust.I'm guessing a portion goes to charity with a much larger portion going to "operating expenses". Or maybe after the investigation some huge powers saw "potential" in Cramer and to make the case against him disappear coerced him to be a TV clown supposedly fighting for the blue collar man and educate him on the market. Is it a coincidence that Cramer grabbed the national spotlight within two years of the second greatest financial crisis of our country's history. Getting millions of average americans to pump their money into the market only to have it evaporate into thin air. Just another perspective. I apologize for the small amount of conjecture, but sometimes you just have to start connecting dots on your own and follow the rabbit hole down to wherever it takes you. Not to where you want it to go.
With the way the markets been going the last year we'll probably get a friday pop after such a horrible week. Hopefully sirius follows suit so we can dump a few shares and rebuy lower next week.
6 Key Points from the Liberty / Sirius XM Deal - Merrill [View article]
It seems as if this company is just sitting on their heels instead of expanding this product to devices like ipod's and cell phones. Make a deal with apple already. Get backseat TV in ever car, add more programming to backseat TV. Advertise, promote, make deals, what the hell are you waiting for. It seems very suspicious to me. I agree with Relmor, they might be trying to take this company private.

Big gov't is corrupt, big business is corrupt, and in this day and age I don't think people really need proof anymore it's just common knowledge(although I do appreciate relmor's and bdp's well thought out and heavily researched posts).I think the days of investing in company's that you believe in based on good principles and a great product are over, at least for the time being. Nowadays the market is a gamble even if your looking at stock trends, market trends or fundamentals. The company's really have no transparency it seems. Mel's deal was a classic example of problem, reaction, solution. Create a problem, get a reaction from your stockholers, and give a solution...ie. an 11th hour deal that might have gotten voted down if done in Dec. Get them stressed in the weeks prior to the feb. debt due date. Then they'll accept whatever you offer them. It's not time to get angry yet. It's time to figure out if this stock is finally going to move in the direction we want...up!

Within the next 2 years we're going to see the emergence of satellite TV in every car, just like what happened to cable in the 1980's. The programming will explode Sirius into a profitable giant.IMO

Even if 4Q numbers disappoint (you never know how wall street will react, they're so fickle), I believe 1Q 09 will be much better. They're generating revenue by renewing contracts at the old subscription price before march 11. I also believe that people that wanted to purchase a subscription but were afraid of bankruptcy(which makes no sense) will now buy.
