Sirius: A Deeper Look at the Liberty Deal [View article]
Connorport, I remember back in august Mel was being interviewed and said that they had assets they could sell including a building worth 300M, if I remember correctly, and I always quietly wondered about that statement. But if they were going to do that they probably would have done it to clear up the Feb. debt instead of giving almost half of the company to Liberty.IMO

I wouldn't mind if it reverses at 1.40 because that would mean I got my money back and then I could start a brand new strategy.

Was going to sell some at .22 but at the last minute with a racing heart decided to buy some more...Oh well, that's how it goes. This news will probably have to marinate inside investors heads for a couple of days before it breaks the .30 mark(I hope I'm wrong). But then we can all relax and enjoy the ride.
Sirius XM: Working on Debt, But Not Out of the Woods [View article]
163888, I agree with your take on Cramer, he was saying $5 stock even after XM took on that huge debt which everyone knew SiriusXm would have to take care of in 2009. And he called it a lottery ticket before the Dow started plunging and before the credit freeze. So what the f*** changed Cramer between the $5 call and the lottery ticket call. It had to be information none of us had...
It seems that the deal with Ergen is taking center stage and Malone is sitting tn the backdrop. I know there is bad blood between Mel and Ergen. Bloomberg TV just had a story about the lawsuit Ergen had against Mel in 2004 where he sued him for anti-trust offences. Apparently Viacom took 2 channels off of dish network and when angry customers called in they gave the customers Mels home number. Which IS kind of funny, but I think with Mels pride he would rather not do business with Ergen IMO.
BDP, I like your optimism and getting the SP over $1 would be an incredible feat. But I definitely see dilution happening sometime this year. Why wouldn't they do it???
Sirius Investors Still in the Dark as Takeover Speculation Continues [View article]
If Mel let's Ergen take the company out from under his seat he will forever be known as Ergen's b**ch. I don't think his ego will let that happen. If they bankrupt the company I'll sell after the post BK bounce and reinvest after the reverse split and subsequent shorting the PPS back down...
Sirius Plays Dangerous Game at Investors' Expense [View article]
Just bought SIRI stock for first time since selling in october. Don't really see much downside from here. Plus I've never heard so many clues about a company going bankrupt within 6 days. Usually the company just files and broadsides you. I'm with Relmor, something stinks.
Could It Finally Be Time to Buy Sirius XM Stock? [View article]
Just got an e-mail from sirius today asking me to renew my contract early. If you renew before march 11, you dont have to pay for internet service and you don't have to pay the increase for your additional subs. Looks like they're going full steam ahead to pay down the debt.
New iPhone App Could Boost Sirius XM's Cash [View article]
I'm new to the ipod world. I have only had one for a month. At first I was almost on the ipod bandwagon, it really is a great device, and I downloaded around 150 songs. But, beleive it or not the songs do get old after a while and I love to go back to my sirius satellite radio and be entertained by DJ's playlists and Howard, not to mention Mad Dog and Jim Brewer. Satellite radio is not going anywhere except global and more accessible. Do I trust the stock? No. It could very well go to .05. But it could be a very profitable gamble if you use money you could afford to lose.
Fed Up with Sirius' Childish Customers [View article]
Brandon, your article woke up the whiny high school brats. None of them have anything constructive to say about the company. The stock has nowhere to go but up from here, even after the reverse split. But people like me that were averaged in at 2 dollars probably won't get all our money back. That's why I took my money out and put it elsewhere. May put some back in if I feel the need. The stock might still shock people(in a good way this time). I'm keeping it out just in case of bankruptcy(unlikely), it just seems that the company is really tentative in making a dent in the debt.Little here, a little there. They're definitely playing games, like the three card monty guy on the corner. Which cup is it under......????????
Sirius' Future Looks More Promising Than Ever [View article]
I've been wanting to get back into this stock to recoup losses (haven't been in since Oct.) but something kept holding me back. Now, getting in before the reverse split seems like a dangerous game (only for guys with a steel stomach). I've called bottom at 1.50 , 1.00 , .68 , .50 , and .25. If the stock was organically sinking our calls probably would have been close, but with manipulation from billionaires it has been hard to chart (I'm a third grader compared to relmor, cos and sl62). Now with the stock at .12 every penny is almost 10%. I'm calling a .12 bottom but we all know what that really means. Having said that, after the reverse split, if they don't short it back down again, I see the stock (after the debt gets taken care of) maybe going above $20 in 2010. That still wouldn't bring me even but I would still get some of my money back from these crooks. Have a good night all...
