Will Murdoch Make a Move on Sirius?

Relmor, I have always enjoyed your posts, your wealth of wisdom have been much appreciated.I mean that sincerely. That being said, you have always seemed adamant about not putting any more money into a spec. stock. I saw on your last post you are considering buying double your shares waiting for a pop. I was just curious on your strategy as I am a relatively(2 years) new investor. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Seri, a big reason to sell is that now every .05 drop, the % drop of your money is going to rise exponentially. They supposedly had good news last night about paying off debt which is one of the main questions in investors heads. Did the shorts go running for the hills? No. I think there is a real threat of a downside, worrying about missing the next pop(which is why I think most of us kept our holdings for the last few months), might not be worth it.That being said, another pop is not out of the question. I think sl62, cos or relmor will be able to elucidate better.

They might be shorting the stock...??? As far as sirius paying down some debt,8%, it is an insignificant (relatively speaking) amount. When I read about it I had deja-vu. Remember when Mel bought those 2m shares?? That being said there is a real chance of the stock popping any day. That is the nature of the market. I got out today because the uncertainty was at its' pinnacle, and the downside would have been the stock following the same suit it has for the last 3 years, finding a new bottom every few months and hovering and then finding a new one. So seeing .20 for a while then .15 then .10 etc... and no chance to recover any funds. So tomorrow I will wake up early, watch the stock, and who knows...? Maybe jump back in again. I hope everybody makes intelligent, rational decisions from here on in. What was done to stockholders of sirixm was downright criminal. Good night all...

The volume was extremely low today, around 26m at 3:00. Any ideas on why so low??

WTMBS, I feel your pain and have been agonizing over the same decision. I dumped my shares at .38 today because standing on this precipice is a dangerous affair, similar to balancing on a ledge of a building, one way is safety and the other way is the end of your money. I'm not a cheerleader, I knew Mel was shrewd and greedy, i just thought shareholders would benefit from those traits. It just seems like he is sucking the blood from his own children. Good luck to everybody, I will be continuing to read your posts.I might jump back in if it goes under .20. For all of your sakes I sincerely hope it doesn't.
