So here you go. If you want to keep up with it, CHTR just filed Chapter. They have 20B in debt and the headline I heard is they will only be able to lose 8B of that. They were at .06 -.07 until announcement hit the wire at 2P, then they crashed to .02, and closed at .034. And so there you have it. Keep an eye on their progression. They will be off NAS tonight and on the the Pinks. As of Jan B, they had 57M SI (15%). Their percentage is double what SIRI's is (relative). Watch the stock on the pinks and see how it trades.

But he forgot he was playing a master manipulator...who has an actual trick bag, who can create illusion, who will convince you your full house is a bad hand. You just wonder though, if the sats were the plan, why not have moved on it by now?? Why let your SP hit .05? Maybe the answer is Mel was just trying to hang on to everything first and hope to just get the new deals. Wishful thinking in this market.

I'm still trying to get over that Geitner speech. Plan? What plan? Over promise, under deliver. Can we ever REALLY count on our gov to actually do what it says? Shorts were waiting for that speech since Jan 1. They didn't want to short into what appeared was going to be a real fix. Now, no fix, shorts are free to move back in--as they are.

So we're getting more of the picture, daily. New scenarios that offer solutions. All encouraging. But still more rumors. If you noticed, that Bloomberg article now had Ergen owning ALL of the 175M 2 1/2%. One thing we do know for sure. Mel WILL NEVER SELL OR GIVE ANYTHING TO ONE CHARLES ERGEN THAT'S NOT ON MELS TERMS. Seems that many people don't like 'ol Charlie and with him trying his little power play through the back door, the dislike factor is just going higher. Chances are it will wind up that Charlie actually did us all a huge favor by being a huge johnson...Thanks Chuck!

Agreed. Cramer's a loose cannon at least. He says he doesn't trade penny stocks. He's the worst waffler on the planet and nothing more than Lonesome Rhodes or the character Peter Finch played in Network. He tells people if you need your money in 3-5 years, take it out of the market now. When the market goes down, he says the world is ending. When the market goes up, we're out of the woods. Just because he got lucky and did that stupid tirade on the air, he's some kind of genius. He's not. He's an insider so he can know when bondholders will short a stock. But as far as being able to predict how individual stocks will do, he's worthless and costs people money while he's trying to get ratings so he can still be a clown on TV.

Disagree shorts have left the building. Even though we've hit actual BK levels in .052, certain contingent will still wait. Certain contingent will cover, then reshort just a la longs. SI should stay in the 200M's and keep rotating. Since SP was cut in half, volume naturally will go up portionately. Have you ever traded .05 stocks or sub penny? 200M shares is common, regular activity between shorting, covering and buying and selling. To easy to buy 100K blocks for traders. Blocks are just bigger so volume naturally goes up. Throw out the rules pre last Thursday. Next rule change is when deal announcement comes.
