    Second, There are certainly millions of people who buy Sirius solely for the music, BUT, not enough millions, and they don't pay enough money for this company to make a profit.

    They CAN'T put MLB on the phone because their contract ONLY covers transmission through satellite, NO other medium. Absent a new contract, you will NEVER have those sports broadcasts on the iphone!

    Thought the new base would be .35 - .40. I guessed wrong, but I'm ready to buy back in between .25 - .30. Apple helps but it needs to be a BIG advertising push, fast.

    Not really raining on anyone's parade today, but just a thought. Sirius doesn't and most likely can't make money on the $12 a month subscription mentioned above. What number is a sustainable profit making subscription cost, that works for the consumer and carries the big increases due in contracts up in the next few years?

    jmsmithy: The stock is falling because it is a speculation not an investment. It only rose so spectacularly because of terrific short covering. When the shorts jump back in a big way. the ground will be cleared for another rally on anything resembling good news. In the current absence of any news, the stock is simply seeking it's level as a profitable business (which it is not, and won't become).
