  • eBay Is a Losing Bid - Barron's  [View article]
"Search" is to find true information, not censored or manipulated data as ebay is trying to do. All buyers will be frustrated and feel cheated with so-called "new search" platform on ebay. Can't believe that anyone at ebay will even think about doing it! Dump ebay stock NOW!

  • eBay: Triple Whammy Weighs on Stock Price [View article]
If a power seller like me is leaving completely, ebay must be doing something really wrong. For the record, my previous 12 month total sales on ebay was more than $700,000 and total purchase on the site was $250,000, total fee paid to ebay was more than $100,000. I stopped after they announced the forced Paypal exclusive payment policy. I am not alone. The ripple will hit ebay in Q4. Be ready for another surprise. I wouldn't touch ebay stock now.

  • eCommerce Stock Pair Trade: Amazon vs. eBay [View article]
Ebay is facing a fundamental business model problem now. It's management tried to abandon its core business and move toward brick-and-mortar Amazon model. The company is not prepare to handle the logistic of merchandising as Amazon has been doing. Remember that Ebay was built by a sellers/buyers community, not by a group of management team. It has alienated many of its sellers and buyers. Forced Payapl and forbidding payment by check, money order, and direct bank transfer has driven many ebay sellers to abandon the site. Investors should not have any more illusion on ebay. It will be another Xerox!

  • Wal-Mart vs. eBay: Which is a Safer Stock to Own? [View article]
Your point that ebay is the leader in internet auction is exactly why we should stay away from ebay stock. Ebay's own management has decided to give up auction and go after Amazon's fixed-price eCommerce model. Their wishfull thinking is that they can enslave ebay sellers to enforce Paypal-only payment method so that ebay will become as safe as Amazon, which invested so much know-how and capital on warehousing and logistics. If more than 50% of ebay power-sellers like myself is not happy and are actively seeking new venues, ebay must be doing something terribly wrong. eBay is definitely an unhealthy company ready to collapse. I do not see that in Walmart.
