Tuesday's Currencies Wrap: Dollar Strengthens

The dollar's rally is completely contingent on other currencies. In order for the dollar to continue, other Federal Banks will have to cut rates. If they don't, we will see the inevitable sooner: The dollar, a fiat currency, is on its way out.

Liquidity (Literally)

funny article but... I don't use 20 gallons of any of these liquids (ok fine, except for beer) a week except for gas. so really the comparison doesn't real hold any water.

Trading Gold for Silver

chux08- I've never heard of them but it sounds great. I'll have to do a little more research though.
What do you guys think about GDX? Gold stocks are at historic lows and I read this article which seemed pretty positive on GDX: www.greenfaucet.com/tr.... I know that some people prefer to hold only physical gold, but I think GDX is a good substitute for GLD.

I'm just getting started so right now own my wish list is GDX. I think GLD gets a lot of hype but see GDX as a solid investment as well. Gold stocks are trading near historical real lows so I thought it would make sense to get in now, especially after the bumps we experienced in the past month or so.
