  • Molycorp- Bullish Or Bearish? [View article]
I really wanted to buy with MCP at 5. Glad I held off. Now at 2.85 I am finally jumping in & loading up. The risk is so minimal. This company is simply NOT going bankrupt. And if there is no bankruptcy, valuation is too low. MCP will go back to 5 or 6 within twelve months, after a couple 'normal' quarters of no major losses. Buying here will be profitable...

  • Stall Speed: Look For Weak Or Negative Job Growth Friday [View article]
I would be a seller of $SPY up here. Stock market is overbought, earnings season was a disappointment.

  • Why I Maintain My $39 Price Target On BlackBerry [View article]
Blackberry now pushes back release of Q10 qwerty phone from April to May or June. Yes another delay. No other company would announce a phone in January but not make it available until June. I bet the new phone will be old news by June! Blackberry the company really is run by morons.

I am indeed waiting until April for the Q10. Just not a well run company that announces a new phone in January but it will not available until April or May. With Blackberry it is delay after delay after delay.

  • Why I Maintain My $39 Price Target On BlackBerry [View article]
I have plenty of money to buy any phone I want. The phone I use is Blackberry Bold. The quality is impeccable. It is best for the two things I (and most people) do most: email and text message. If you play stupid video games on your phone or watch movies on your phone, Blackberry is not for you. If you want to communicate & get stuff done, Blackberry is best. And all those sheep who think touchscreen keyboards are better than physical keyboards are wrong. A physical keyboard is much, much more efficient. There is a reason why people with iPhones never send long emails on their iPhones. I will always be a Blackyberry user.
Now, with that said, Blackberry the company is run by idiots. Taking 2 years to release a new phone is ridiculous. The X10 was announced in January and still not available until maybe April? Ridiculous.
As for BBRY stock, I would actually be bearish, as the X10 still has no release date.

  • Amazon Should Post Strong Results, But Sales Tax Impact In Question [View article]
The author makes no sense: "Amazon is setting up wharehouses for charging sales taxes." Amazon's warehouses are for distributing items. Accounting departments are set up to charge sales tax.

  • Unusually High Volume Presaged Molycorp's 23% Plunge. Who Knew Something? [View article]
I'm sure somebody knew something, but the SEC is run by complete idiots, so nothing will ever get pursued.

  • China sets at 46.9K metric tons its first rare earth production quota for 2013 - roughly half the level of 2012. Molycorp (MCP) gains 3% premarket, also helped by Lawrence Balter putting the stock on his list of 2013 underdogs to surprise. The bad news and then some is baked in, he says, keeping his $50 price target on the shares. [View news story]
MCP is definitely under-valued. One of the worst stocks in 2012, could be best of 2013...

  • Molycorp Set To Have A Better 2013 [View article]
I wouldn't be surprised to see MCP stock return back to the 20's in 2013. As a growth stock, $MCP has more potential than most.

  • China sets its H1 2013 export quota for rare earth resources at 15.5K metric tons to be split among 24 domestic producers. The quota is not always met due to weak global demand; China exported only ~13K metric tons of rare earth ores, metals and compounds in the first 11 months of this year, less than half the full-year 2012 quota. [View news story]
I have also heard stockpiles and ree inventories are running low.

  • BOOM! Goes The Molycorp: Avoiding 'Manic' Stocks [View article]
I believe MCP will see 15 sometime in 2013. Very few investments have this kind of up +50% move potential.

In the space, I'd rather own MCP. Molycorp's very high revenue growth makes this stock an easy double in 2013 if no other problems arise.
