Bernanke Calls U.S. Recovery 'Fragile'

So is mine, as is my confidence in the US economy at this point. 2010 is going to be one of those make or break years I think.

Not good as they are one of our biggest buyers of debt supposedly helping to finance our recovery.

Dollar Hits 2 Year High As Equities Continue Sell-Off

I continued to be bothered by centralized banking and groups like the G7 (glad their latest bit appears to be "all talk"). There's too much power for abuse there. Plus if they make a mistake it cascades like a tsunami. That said, I think that we will likely see the dollar continue to strengthen with the global woes but only in the short-term. In 12 months or shortly there after I think inflation will be the big gorilla in the elevator on the way down.

Stocks, Gold, and the U.S. Dollar

Your statement, "The inflationary pressures will be very strong on the other side of this credit crisis." is the one that really sticks in my mind and is what I've been expecting.

Dollar Rally Could be Short Lived

I totally agree that the bailout is a lose-lose situation for the dollar. I had to smile when I saw one comment compare the Paulson bailout to a Nigerian eMail scam. Kind of sums up my feelings on the whole deal.
