  • What Are the Best Hedge Funds Buying Now? [View article]
Great call JG. I take a lot of heat for my call of the SP 500 really being....The SP 500. What vehicle would you use to take full advantage of the fall? The likes of FAZ are tempting but the market makers are making that risky.

  • Our Steroid Pumped Economy [View article]
In Arizona we are moving into State employee lay off phase while State Agencies are raising fees at alarming rates.

    It's just begun folks!

Kind of strange how her words don't seem to have the same "bite" they have in the past. What's with that?

  • Buffett's Holdings Outperforming in Q4 [View article]
I admit, even though I am a day trader I am sitting on some BRK.B in my Roth IRA and have been surprised it has held up as well as it has. My concern is the collapse of Wells Fargo and Bank of America taking the fund down. SP 500 @ 1130 is an area of great concern for all of these names.

  • Betting on Natural Gas, Part II: Investing Ideas [View article]
One of the best post I have seen in a while. This market is headed lower and winter demand can't stop it. We have never seen a glut like this in all of our trading years and look to retest the 2.40 area.

  • Is Crude Oil Breaking Out? [View article]
If the crude oil bulls can't push this market through resistance at 73.16 soon, bears will have the advantage and all of the bullish momentum will evaporate. Bob Prechter's call for a near term bottom is getting talked around by a lot of commercial traders, and if it get's any traction we will trade to the cluster support at 58.32. Then the bulls can eye their $90 oil. But I don't see it until then.

  • Fadel Gheit: Oil Prices to Remain Inflated but Don't Pass on Gas [View article]
Wouldn't it be nice to have real leadership in Washington right now. Articles like this make it sound like gas has no future. The U.S., the largest energy market in the world will be the judge of that. Now let's put some people to work on domestic gas projects. Just watch how low crude prices will stay to combat that. The only play "they" have ;]

  • Natural Gas: Worst Investment Ever? [View article]
Retail investors that lack the understanding of NAV and contracts roll over have been eaten alive by UNG. Just look at the boards on Google Finance etc. But UNG has still been an amazing day trading tool if you know how to avoid the road blocks. Don't get stuck in this one, but use the welcomed volatility when it gets overbought and oversold.

  • How Much Natural Gas Remains in the USA? [View article]
Nobody can say how much in reserve we have. EIA info is based on outdated technology, so I would not put a lot into that. Regardless, we need to forge ahead with widespread "domestic" natural gas usage but be honest with ourselves that it only represents a "bridge fuel" to the future. We need some leadership out of Washington though, now that is a novel thought.

    T. Boone is the real voice of reason when he says "we need it all"

  • Why Gold, If Deflation Is the Threat? [View article]
Probably one of the most over looked aspects of the coming doom is that everything will fall, everything. Then the new world currency, crude oil, as well as gold and a few other commodities will sky rocket. Causing inflation that will become the final blow. Urbanization to follow.....or die.

    Great post Rolfe!

Great post Reggie. It's sad that the feds are determined to bring down all of the banks that acted responsibly with their "to big to fail" friends. Pay your FDIC dues 3 years in advance? Unbelievable.
