  • Why Activision Blizzard Is Absolutely A Buy [View article]
Look at Pokemon, that's been around since I was 11 and it's still widely popular. If they play it right, skylanders has that potential. From a game perspective skylanders is not that great of a game... it's not very challenging and I felt is pretty repetitive (Step Son loved it). But like you said it's all about collecting which is what pokemon is.

Why operate at a profit when you can just continue to not have to pay taxes. Get's more money pumped into the company to use for R&D or go after different retail sectors to become a giant Monopoly. While under the eyes of the American public as company who continues to make jobs and get them their latest toy to their door before they come home.

Wouldn't be much fun! Plus, why do anything for shareholders when the price of the stock just keeps going up, and those with large positions keep seeing their net worth going up. While they just spin their shares off to buy others.

Well yeah, companies aren't hiring higher paying jobs. The only jobs being added (not only, but a majority) are retail (minimum wage, which is too low as people on minimum wage can't spend and that's 70% of the US economy). Companies are boosting their EPS by buying back stock with the free money that is definitely trickling down to the average Joe, of course they are beating on earnings.

It's because unemployment benefits ran out. The people that were receiving them more than likely already gave up on looking for work so when they stop receiving it and they aren't actively applying for "jobs" they aren't considered part of the working class even if they are at working age.
