Canadian National Railway: Attractive Dividend Stock

I wish when someone tells investors about a stock from outside the USA they mention the fact that if you invest in Canada for instance,before the investor gets their share at least 15% is taken off the top for the country tax.
I have 4 Canadian companies in my IRA and they all pay great divedends but I don't pay US taxes on the interest.This means that it still costs me 15% off the top.
