Paulson Begins Gradual Wind-Down of GSEs Within Conservatorship

Paulson has used his power to make make a weekend deal, given investors no chance to react, to transfer risk from households to taxpayers who did not have a choice in the matter to begin with. I will not support or applaud him for this act. This is going to damage every American's financial security. Nevermind that they became shareholders without a choice; the big issue is that our govt debt will continue to grow threatening every part of american life.
