  • Russian Arctic Find: A Glacial Oil And Gas Play [View article]
    Seen in today's "breaking news":

ExxonMobil ends cooperation with Rosneft on Arctic oil project

Despite striking oil in the Kara Sea on Friday, ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM) is suspending cooperation with Russia's Rosneft (OTC:RNFTF) on offshore drilling in the Arctic due to sanctions.
"Theoretically, there was a possibility to continue the work, but it was necessary to obtain a new permit," Kommersant reports. "But (ExxonMobil) failed to get it. ExxonMobil should stop work and evacuate its personnel by mid-October."
The Kara Sea oil province is estimated to contain oil reserves comparable to those of Saudi Arabia.

  • Automation Of Global Agriculture Will Yield Significant Growth [View article]
Why would India or China buy US made farm equipment when Japan, and probably Korea and China, makes the same things cheaper? Deer Sales are down, yes the stock may be oversold but I think its speculation to buy now as it probably will get more oversold.
Also corn prices have plummeted which according to other articles I have read does not induce farmers to make new equipment purchases.

sbrncra, I don't think Steph...'s comment was thinking of Party Lines. The PAC groups and lobbyist have been in place as long as I can remember. The US has been "in bed" with the Saudi Royal family ever since well 7 hit pay dirt in 1938.
I doubt that the whole economy can be lifted by pipeline jobs.

"Report: U.S. crude could fall $30 below international prices without exports
Sep 24 2014, 17:57 ET | By: Carl Surran, SA News Editor [Contact this editor with comments or a news tip]

The going rate for U.S. crude oil could tumble $30 below international benchmarks in the coming decades if U.S. policymakers don’t reverse a ban on exporting crude oil, according to a report by Wood Mackenzie.
The falling prices could be made worse by new drilling technology that may double recovery rates and add an additional 1.5M-3M bbl/day of new oil production - as much as 25% more oil than is expected today - the report says.
The report is not specific about the kinds of technologies that could draw more oil from the ground, but it cites companies such as EOG Resources (NYSE:EOG) that in the early phase of testing new methods now."

Not too encouraging for energy investors.

If you put in AAPL in the "search" box at the top of the page you will find a plethora of articles written about Apple just since September 9 and you will find all kinds of ways to play AAPL, sell short, buy, write options - anything and everything.
I think what Peter is giving you here, as explained in the beginning of the article, is what the Market Makers (traders who have their finger on the pulse of the market throughout the day) think the odds are that will happen (AAPL reaching its high range forecast) as expressed in a chart of where they put their money day to day.
    Thanks Peter
