Originally from Maryland, near Washington D.C., I now reside in Idaho. After serving in the Air Force during the first Gulf War, I went to university and majored in history with a minor in chemistry. Since then I have had a few different jobs, however I currently manage inventory for a company in the medical services field.

My hobbies include military history, war gaming (board/card/computer), gardening, stargazing, and writing poetry.

As far as investing goes, I am an amateur. What first started as a small effort over five years ago to support my retirement has grown to a real passion. I am a conservative investor. I seek investment in stocks that have a long history of increasing dividends.

Some of my current holdings are: ADP, BKH, CLX, DUK, ERF, FDO, JNJ, KMP, KO, MCD, MKC, NAT, O, SVU, TNH, and VE.

For the future I am considering: ADM, APD, CB, DOV, EMR, FLO, PM, SYY, TD, TK, and UTX.
