Euthanasia for Clunkers: The So-Called 'Healthcare Bill' [View article]
The New York Times this week has carried a good summary of the current legislation, and it has a good tool on its website for comparing the vaious healthcare bills.

Thanks. It is useful to have the commentary. I would encourage you to keep writing about how you think the new government will relate to the stock market.

Why don't you recommend any foreign ordinaries? These are easily available through Schwab, Fidelity, etc. What is the reason to focus on ADRs and US stocks?

There is a lot of political commentary out there, but I have been looking for a dispassionate summary of the costs and benefits of the healthcare legislation, free of accusations and name-calling. Can anyone point me to such a summary? Also, has anyone quantified reductions in costs due to the government's purchasing power. This was something both Republicans and Democrats talked about in the primaries, but I have not heard any discussion of it recently.

On PSA, your table lists a price of 23.64 and a P/TB of 0.5. This seems inaccurate. As far as I can tell the stock has always traded in the range of $70-$80. Is the table inaccurate, or am I missing something?
The Impact of Japan's Growing Shareholder Rights Movement [View article]
Thanks for the analysis. What is the best place to find the figures on how much dividends have risen and how much share prices have fallen for companies with poison pills? This would help a lot to measure the impact of the market's demand for shareholder rights.
When I looked on Bloomberg for the dividend yield on the TOPIX index for the last 365 days, it was 1.13%. The dividend yield for the previous 365 days had been 1.17%. I would like to believe the rising dividend story, but what is the location where I can find it?
