Burticus is right, Silver has different fundamentals behind it and will be the right bet once it touches the USD 10 level again (it will very soon) as for Gold don't even ask, just speculate (that's is how the Gold market works nowadays) my bet is down short term for Gold and then play the USD/Gold ratio long term.
