  • Netflix Investors Be Wary Of China's Potential Costs [View article]
once every so often a company comes along that's a no-brainer investment. Microsoft, facebook, amazon, and yes net flicks. the disruptors. You could stand in front of this train ,step to the side or jump on board. Critique it all you want. Heck short it if you like. But don't forget one thing .the business model 's a run away freight train . the rules don't apply .and watch it go to 100 billion market cap.

Well written and allow me to dig down on one of your points .In N.Y. and I suspect other area's of the country. The native Americans have entered this space. Similar and very successfully I may add the nations entered at the expense of both Atlantic City and Las Vegas the gaming space. The nations are now in cigarettes. Producing as well as marketing their own they are a game changer. they don't collect the heavy burden of state tax or federal tax. Like gaming I suspect they are having the old players lunch. Most of the smokers I know venture to the nations casino's and purchase their smokes at in some cases 1/2 the price compared to PM's retail and other players~cigeratte producers price .In NY I mite add that's $5 a pack .

  • Is Facebook Becoming The Next MySpace? [View article]
Imagine if you will. an internet without Facebook. Their in lies the potential of this company. The simplicity of the idea is the genius and the sky is the limit. With or with out china. As a mobile society that is more mobile each day .One can stay connected with family and friends on a personal level having grown up in new England and working in Hawaii or any other part of the globe. This company if it continues to be well managed I see as the next Apple. Time will tell. Thanks for the wishes

and how big is Google in china? The world is changing place. Facebook it seems gets that. Were my space did nothing to innovate. The teen part means little. many industries have flourished with out teens. Network tv,pro sports are two that come to mind.Facebook by its concept will be around for generations to come. For one very basic reason. People. And people live to socialize. To meet others and share their lives.

what I find questionable about this piece is the writer's use of an alias. And not just any alias .but one of a very successful wall st. insider. Further more no sources are named. Yet the story is interrupted as facts. Evident by the stocks steep decline. Why SA allows this leads me to believe they too have skin in the game.
