"They will never capture more than about 10% of consumers." Then how did the Halo series do so well? Way more than 10% of Xbox owners bought Halo and/or Halo 2, and there are plenty of other successful FPS shooters on consoles. But more diversity would be good, and I think Nintendo will do more damage than people think.
