    "They will never capture more than about 10% of consumers." Then how did the Halo series do so well? Way more than 10% of Xbox owners bought Halo and/or Halo 2, and there are plenty of other successful FPS shooters on consoles. But more diversity would be good, and I think Nintendo will do more damage than people think.

    RNWK has burned a ton of customers with their horrendous software. After dealing with a version that would continually take over my computer and assign itself to play all media files AGAINST my wishes, I vowed never to use a Real product again. Even Windows Media Player isn't that bad.

    There aren't many obstacles to putting web video on TV, though it would certainly help if more videos were in long enough to be worth the trouble of putting them on TV, widescreen format, and at high resolutions. Think about it, a lot of computers have DVI outputs, which can go right into HDMI inputs on HDTV's. If the video is of a high-enough resolution (480P or higher), it will look just fine on a TV so long as the bandwidth is there.
