Given that the average lot size is 1/2 acre that means that the area occupied by the mirrors is more than twice the size occupied by the homes. It also means that 1200 acres of land will be deprived of sunshine. No one yet has done a calculation of the cost of what I call "shade pollution" or the effect on land taken out of the biosphere.
