After a long vacation from stock investing, for a year or so I tried to imitate Buffet. For what ever reason, maybe the up market, I gained. It came to my attention that he was running BRK for a very small percentage of its value. Let that amount equal X. Now if his results are equal to more than mine + X, then I felt that I should hire him. Disclosure; BRK, A&B now represent about 50% of our household assets, 90% of our stock and we plan to buy more.
