  • The Beginning Of Apple's Touch ID Revolution  [View article]
Still undervalued when compared to "peers". Remember how severely undervalued it was for a couple years. It joined the ride up late, and still has some legs. Especially since the world wide printing ing presses are about to be fired up. What else are folks supposed to put money in? Bonds?

  • Is Apple's Run Over?  [View article]
AAPL has been severely undervalued and has only been making SOME of that up. 150 fair value today. With upcoming products and services over next 18 months 200. Keep in mind that the stock split matters to some extent. Is aapl at 200 sound so ridiculous? Google split, and it will run up towards 1000 again in the next few years.

  • Chinese iPhone 6 pre-orders reportedly top 20M  [View news story]
AAPL is like a coiled spring right now. The stock has not benefitted from all the positives as of late to the extent that it could have. I think that after earnings and some solid numbers from China, the stock will go up around 5 %.
I think after Apple Pay and the Apple Watch get rolling and the market sees both are off to a good start....another 5-10%. If the market as a whole climbs higher, who knows.....charts and traders could take the stock to 150 by March.

  • Apple Is A Luxury Brand And That Is The Problem  [View article]
The Link below is an overview of Apple Watch from Apple's website. At the bottom of the linked page is a button that takes you to the next section of the Apple Watch
information site. It continues like this for page after page. I just read them all, and I highly recommended every Apple investor or prospective investor to do the same. I was VERY impressed and think that Apple has nailed it. The attention to detail in their explanations and how well thought out the whole web presentation was is really top notch. This company is firing in all cylinders and I think a year from now Tim Cook will be be given a lot of credit for keeping Apple on a wonderful trajectory by making tangible improvements to the scope and breadth of what Apple touches......without in any way diluting the brand quality. He will be seen as improving the company he was left.

  • Apple Is A Luxury Brand And That Is The Problem  [View article]
This was pure satire… Really made my night! It's always interesting when Apple bashers fail to see the technological innovations in Apple products that enable a superior and user experience. I guess that's why the bashers just don't get why apples the most popular brand on the planet.

The iPhone 6 contains cutting-edge and innovative technologies… innovative System-on-a-chip… New secure enclave for Apple pay… Anonymous transaction data when using Apple pay… And the list goes on and on. Somehow the Apple bashers only see things like screen size. For them phones come down to screen size. If that's all you're going to see, and don't want to understand the technology inside that makes a product run the software, then you're never going to get it.

The way Apple has positioned and marketed The Apple watch is a stroke of genius. Not only is it an absolutely innovative product that contains technology never seen before, but the quality, the craftsmanship, the materials, and attention to detail… Stunning! Pay attention to who they invited to the event… Influential people in the fashion industry. They clearly wanted to create a beautiful piece of jewelry that people would want to wear on their wrist. Look at all the possible customizations by mixing and matching models with bands! The technology inside and what it can do is amazing, and only Apple could come up with the idea of winding the clock to zoom in and zoom out.

It's also quite hilarious when the popularity of Apple products is so incredible that the rumor mill works 24 seven, and eventually things leak due to the demand of consumers wanting to know. And then it's always funny when people say there were no surprises.

This event was a homerun, no a grand slam… And exactly what Apple needed to do to reinforce the idea that they are the innovation leaders of technology. This positions them for growth in years to come.

  • Apple iPhone 6: iPhone 5 Déjà Vu Or New Highs?  [View article]
If you own AAPL and are worried about what happens to the stock price over the next week you probably shouldn't own it. Curious yes, but these short term fluctuations are based on trading momentum.

  • Apple's Success Is In The Sensational And The Subtle  [View article]
When the market corrects and some of the money comes out of high flying tech stocks and speculative stocks in general, AAPL will be a safe haven to some extent...low valuation, dividend, highly profitable company.

  • Report: Apple unveiling wearable device at Sep. 9 iPhone event  [View news story]
The people in the know are analyzing the important factors, like where is the growth going to come from. App Store, iAd's, subscription music service, growing business usage (IBM partnership), education usage, iwatch .....add all this up and then add in non-saturated markets and you have the makings of a renewed growth rate in the future. Top it off with the brand that is able to charge a premium and make a profit while doing business. Oh, plus they have a few bucks laying around. Did I forget to mention that Wall Street already has the articles written laying in a drawer for a rainy day about how Tim Cook has actually improved the company since taking over from Steve Jobs, and that Steve probably pick Tim for a reason, and that Steve wasn't a moron.

The same people in the know were the ones whipping up dooms days scenarios for how Apple was all but done with one foot in bankruptcy and the other on the banana peel through hit pieces ......while with their free hand on their keyboards backing up the truck.

Apple was a great company, is a great company, and will continue to be a great company for the foreseeable future. Primely positioned in a wonderful young growing market, whose pie is itself growing.

    120? 130? 150? I would say it will hit 150 within 18 months.

You would have to be a fool to short or sell Apple anytime in the next 6 months. You were warned, Sept. 9 + 3 positive earnings reports in a row + analysts back on the bandwagon due to new product cycle= explosive. Apple May not lag it's peers in valuation for long. They may even trade at a slight premium. Imagine that heresy.

  • Morgan Stanley expects strong FQ3 iPhone sales  [View news story]
First comment is right on. Right now Apple is severely undervalued when compared to most other big names. Thus market has been running for 2 years while Apple went in reverse. Mr. Market is waking up to this fact. Accumulation is underway. Shorts are gonna get crushed over the next 12 months.

An amazing conference. What features, continuity, technology, and style. An amazing culture they have. I have never felt better about the future of Apple than I do now. I speak as an investor and also as a user.

  • Apple: Yes To iBeats And Yes To Paid Music Streaming  [View article]
Anyone but Apple buys a company...."Visionary". Apple buys a company..."They are running out of ideas, the pipeline is empty, this must be cook's new product headphones, they are desperate, beats is so yesterday, late to the party rotten apple, apple doesn't make any products people actually buy....".

Irrationality only lasts so long in the markets. If you think I am referring to Apple's PE of 12 and not Amazons PE of 30 000 000 then you are mistaken. I am referring to both.

  • Apple's Capital Program Is Not Financial Engineering  [View article]
Apple has been a very scrutinized stock. As a result it is a great case study of the disconnect at times between what the analysts/media say and the health of the actual business. It also illustrates how price movement can be wildly irrational and the suddenly it is as if everyone all at once becomes rational and realizes it is wildly undervalued. Wen you compare a business/sector like Apple with some of the hot high flying stocks, you scratch your head. Seems like a lot of people are all in a hurry to scratch their heads now. Next 12 months should be a fun time to be an Apple shareholder. A little humble apple pie anyone?

  • Facebook Is A Buy, $85 Price Target Is Possible For 2014  [View article]
There are a number of tech stock high fliers that are trading at crazy multiples. We are in the midst of a bull market. Facebook is a great product and an exciting stock. I wouldn't call it a great stock....not at 57. It is a very competitive business with fickle users accustomed to change, and they can only buy competitors for so long. The big IF for me is how many stupid ads will people tolerate, and how far will they allow their personal data to be used and sold. The internet was really cool because you could avoid commercials, but internet companies are finding they need to make money, and ads are the only way. With the next company waiting in the wings willing to offer free and adfree just to get established, it is a fine line to balance for the big dogs. Ads versus user experience.

  • Could Guru Fund Managers Be Right On Apple Again?  [View article]
700 will be in the rear view within 18 months. 800 plus is my guess. It is too great of a company with too great of an ethos in a great market to be in. People wring their hands over the size of the pie slices in the short term and they miss the fact that Aaple has an important place at the table where the pie is growing in size.

Apple needs a music streaming service. Spotify is a big thing. I love iTunes and will always buy music now and then, but most people will consume most of their music via streaming in short order.
