My understanding is that there is a clear difference between a filing for liquidation - where the company closes shop and folds - and a reorganization - where debt is reorganized. My understanding is that in a reorganization, the shareholders keep their shares and the company gets to redo its debt under more favorable terms. I think that this is a ploy. Be careful shareholders or you will end up selling cheap, similar to the Wachovia Wells Fargo scenario when Wachovia went cheap and people panicked out. Hang tight and ride it out. Like I say, the share prices are already at bankrupcy levels.

Relmor: Accd to an article I just read, there is significant naked short selling of this stock. IE more sales than buys. Where is the SEC? The same place that the FCC was last year? Feb debt has to be done deal. SIRI has right to issue ton of more shares to pay it. Debt is a done deal after we allowed SIRI to issue more shares and do reverse split. Why hasn't reverse split been done? Maybe its not needed. Hmmm. Wonder why? What if when report on Feb debt being paid comes out the shorts are squeezed? Hang in there dudes.

Are people numb to the fact that this is happening. That another company is buying maturing debt that has SIRI channels already on their product. That the only two issues to SIRI XMs stock going down are handle on Short Term Debt and autos. Hello, STD being bought, for what, a loss, heck no, a gain. According to my review of articles, Karmizan was worth 600 mill in '03. He is probably worth much more now. As of the current date, he basically has all of his salary and bonuses (25 mill) tied up in SIRI stock. Karmizan hates to lose and is a winner. He will figure his way out of this or use his own money. His ego will not allow otherwise. Relmor is dead on. Main street media -WSJ, terrestrial - is lying, yes I said it - lying - to try to get him to fail. Won't happen. Product is too superior.
