    Altouhgh I like the idea of a nearly 700% increase in iPhone sales, this quarter will reveal the real interest in it.
    Remember: before the iPhone 3G, Apple sold the iPhone in only 4 Markets (U.S.,Britain,France and Germany).This changed at the end of July 2008. So, this quarter will be the first with the iPhone sold in 80 markets and so we will see if Apple manage to take this hurdle.

    So, as you can see, Apple MUST introduce an netbook because the Mac-sales are sooooo flat (Caution: IRONY)

    All you guys who talked Apple down because of the gap in their product-line, what do you think now?

    The PC-industry is struggeling BECAUSE of the netbooks.They don`t help create more revenue and profit, they make the people avoid buying PCs with healthy margins.

    So, everyone who beats Apple because of their product line, look at these numbers and be quiet.

    I cannot understand why every analyst want´s Apple to lower their prices?
    Could it be possible that the numbers in which they are selling the new Macbooks are so high that there is no need to lower them?
    I am sure they will act wenn the selling-numbers will tell them that it is time to react.

    "There is cannibalization of 2.5G iPhones from upgrades. Original iPhones that become inactive from new 3G purchases won’t increase market share measurements. Of course, some legacy iPhones are sold or passed on".

    There won't be any cannibalisation-effect... tough everyone who made an upgrade will be able to sell the 2G iPhone for a good price.
    I made an upgrade 4 days ago i was able to sell my old one for 330 € altough i purchased it for 399€ 10 months ago.Not bad,uhhh?
